Getting started
HereYaGo gives you more ways to Access the things you need and want the most. Borrow from nearby Neighbors, try something before buying your own, or buy at a discount through our partners on Deals & Discounts. You choose what makes sense for you, each time.
Offer things you already own to help other Neighbors do the same. You keep ownership and choose when and with whom your items are available. Offering an eligible item also unlocks Insider Access to Deals & Discounts.

Austin, TX is the first unlocked area. The app checks your current location to determine whether you are in an unlocked area. Registration and access to local items are separate, so completing your account does not always mean you can begin offering or borrowing immediately.
Your area may not be open yet, or admission may be paused while we add capacity. Follow the waiting instructions shown in the app. You can keep your account and profile while waiting, but offering and borrowing become available after admission and location eligibility are satisfied. We do not promise an admission date.
No. Once you are admitted, we invite you to Add an Item, and you can exit that flow. Offering is encouraged, but it is not a requirement for completing signup. You cannot publish an item while you are still waiting for admission.
Offering and borrowing
Offer useful, reusable items that are clean, safe, working, and no more than 50 pounds. The item and its required parts and accessories must fit inside a standard car trunk with the trunk fully closed. This size rule applies to both Free and Premium offers. Consumables and prohibited items are not eligible. See Item restrictions below.
Consider the item as it will be packed for transport. A rigid paddle board that cannot fit is not eligible. An inflatable paddle board may qualify if it can be packed into the trunk with all required accessories and meets the other item rules. Have it ready in that form for pickup and return.
Yes. You choose when and with whom your item is available. The Offering Neighbor must accept a borrowing request before the exchange can proceed.
Items can be borrowed for up to two weeks, subject to the Offering Neighbor’s availability and the dates agreed for the exchange. Follow the return date in your booking.
Yes. Borrowing lets you find out whether an available item suits you before you decide to buy your own. The usual borrowing rules apply, including the Offering Neighbor’s acceptance and the agreed return date.
When you are ready to buy, explore Deals & Discounts for current offers from our partners.
Include the parts, cords, chargers, remotes, batteries, keys, adapters, and other accessories needed for normal use. Describe the item accurately and disclose existing wear or damage. Pack everything so it fits inside a standard car trunk with the trunk fully closed, and have it ready for the agreed handoff. The Borrowing Neighbor must prepare it the same way for return pickup.
Use the manual entry option and provide a precise description, including the brand and model when known. Check that your photos and details match the actual item. If you remain stuck, contact support with the screen and error you see.
Free and Premium
Free Neighbors arrange their own handoffs when borrowing from other Free Neighbors and are not eligible for HereYaGo’s built-in protection for damaged, lost, or stolen items. Premium includes Runner pickup, delivery, and return for eligible exchanges, plus built-in protection of up to $250 for damaged, lost, or stolen items, subject to HereYaGo’s protection terms.
Both Neighbors agree on the day and time, and the named adult must be present at each Runner handoff. Both must also remain reachable by phone or text until the Runner has delivered the item.
- Free borrowing from Free: Neighbors arrange their own handoffs.
- Free borrowing from Premium: The Borrowing Neighbor needs Premium.
- Premium borrowing from Free: HereYaGo handles Runner transport for the exchange.
- Premium borrowing from Premium: Runner transport is included with Premium.
Every exchange remains subject to item availability, the Offering Neighbor’s acceptance, and HereYaGo’s area and scheduling rules.
See the current Premium plans and billing terms in the app before you subscribe. HereYaGo offers a seven-day free trial. Review the trial terms shown before you begin. Signing up, waiting for admission, or being admitted does not by itself enroll you in Premium or start a trial.
Runner handoffs
Yes. The named adult shown for each handoff must be physically present and sign. This applies to the Offering Neighbor at the first pickup, the Borrowing Neighbor at delivery and return pickup, and the Offering Neighbor at final return.
Both Neighbors must remain reachable by phone or text from pickup until the Runner has delivered the item. After handing it over, stay available in case the Runner needs help or must bring it straight back because delivery cannot be completed. This applies to both the delivery and the return journey. Keep your phone nearby and respond promptly to the Runner’s calls or messages.
Each handoff must be with the named adult. A spouse, roommate, family member, child, office employee, or other substitute cannot complete it, even with permission from the named Neighbor.
Runners do not enter homes, even when invited. Meet at a safe exterior or appropriate common-area location. Items cannot be left unattended on a porch, outside a door, in a lobby, or with another person.
Contact the other Neighbor and email Howdy@HereYaGo.com as soon as you know. Use the available exchange contact options and keep any revised arrangement in the app. If a Runner is already arriving or waiting, let them know through the available exchange contact options, mark your support email “Active delivery or return,” and stay reachable. Do not assume that a new time or substitute recipient has been accepted.
The Runner follows a contact process lasting 10 minutes from recorded arrival, then contacts support for instructions. Respond promptly if you receive a call or message. The Runner cannot leave the item unattended or hand it to someone else. Support will coordinate the next step.
Email Howdy@HereYaGo.com promptly with the item and exchange details, a description of the problem, and relevant photos or other evidence. If the issue affects a handoff happening now, put “Active delivery or return” in the subject and stay reachable by your Runner.
Premium includes built-in protection of up to $250 for damaged, lost, or stolen items. Under HereYaGo’s protection terms, we replace the item up to $250. If it cannot be easily replaced, we assess its current fair market value and provide payment up to $250. Free Neighbors are not eligible for this protection. Support reviews the circumstances and evidence before determining the applicable resolution. Runners document visible condition and concerns.

Offer an eligible item to unlock Insider Access. Each partner offer has its own terms and availability.
HereYaGo earns a commission on qualifying purchases made through these deals and discounts.
Offering an eligible item unlocks Insider Access to Deals & Discounts from stores and brands. Check the app for your current access and the terms that apply. If an offer has not unlocked access as expected, contact support with the item name and what you see in the app.
Check each offer’s current terms, availability, and restrictions before using it. HereYaGo does not promise one discount percentage across all stores or products.
Account help
Location is required to determine whether you are currently in an unlocked area. If access cannot be checked, follow the app’s instructions to enable Location and retry. A saved address does not replace the current-location check.
Camera and Microphone permissions are optional. Manual item entry remains available. You still need a profile photo, but you can choose an existing photo rather than take a new one. The app may ask for the permission needed to access the selected photo.
Your profile helps Neighbors know who they are interacting with. Use a clear photo of your own face and an introduction of 50 to 200 characters. A profile photo does not replace the identity check required when you first attempt to borrow.
Stripe Identity verification is required when you first attempt to borrow an item. Follow the verification flow provided in the app. Do not email identity documents to support.
Check that your US mobile number is correct and can receive SMS. Follow the app’s retry instructions and any displayed countdown. Each verified phone number can belong to only one account. If you already have an account, use Login or account recovery. Passwords must contain at least six characters with no spaces. Contact support if you are still stuck, and never send your password or verification code.
Email Howdy@HereYaGo.com with the charge date, amount, and a brief description. You may include a receipt with sensitive payment details removed. Support will review the question; do not send your full card number or security code.
Item restrictions
Items must weigh no more than 50 pounds and fit, together with all required parts and accessories, inside a standard car trunk with the trunk fully closed. Items that do not meet either limit are not eligible for Free or Premium offers.
The following are not eligible:
- Consumables
- Firearms, ammunition, and weapons
- Illegal substances and drug paraphernalia
- Prescription medicines
- Alcohol and nicotine products
- Hazardous, toxic, explosive, or flammable materials
- Fuel-filled equipment
- Live animals
- Perishable food requiring temperature control
- Biohazardous, infested, heavily soiled, or foul-smelling items
- Cash, jewelry, financial documents, or exceptionally high-value collectibles
- Child car seats, cribs, or safety equipment where hidden damage could create risk
An item must also comply with current HereYaGo rules and applicable law. If you are unsure whether an item is eligible, ask support before offering it.
